FIRECO Dorgard DG2000 Door Hold Open Device - Black

The Fireco Dorgard DG2000 is a wireless fire door hold open device designed to allow fire doors to be held open safely during normal use, helping to improve access and ventilation throughout a building. The unit is fitted to the bottom of the door and uses an integral plunger to hold the door in position without the need for hard wiring or connection to the fire alarm system.

Dorgard continuously listens for the buildings fire alarm and, when a continuous alarm signal is detected, automatically releases the door so that the fitted door closer can close it. The battery operated design allows straightforward installation with minimal disruption, while adjustable sensitivity and an automatic night time release facility provide additional flexibility for different building environments. Installation can typically be completed in under five minutes using four screws.

The Dorgard DG2000 is tested to EN 1155 and is CE and UKCA marked. It is suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors when installed as part of an appropriate fire rated doorset. As this product is fire tested, it must be installed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and used with all relevant associated products where required.
