AGRIPPA Sound Activated Size 4 Digital Fire Door Closer - 3-80-0070

The Geofire Agrippa Sound Activated Digital Fire Door Closer is a Size 4 free swing door closer designed to make fire doors easier to use during normal operation while ensuring they can close when the building's fire alarm sounds. Once the door has been opened, the free swing function allows it to move with minimal resistance and remain open at a convenient position, helping improve accessibility and ventilation in locations such as care homes, schools and hospitals.

Agrippa incorporates Geofire's Listen and Learn technology, allowing the device to recognise the specific sound of the building's fire alarm rather than responding simply to loud background noise. When the recognised alarm is detected, the closer automatically releases the free swing function and allows the fire door to close. The battery powered and wire free design requires no connection to the mains or fire alarm system and is supplied with two C cell batteries.

The closer features an adjustable holding angle between 65° and 105°, adjustable closing speeds, a seven segment LED display, low battery warning, manual release button and programmable daily release function. It conforms to EN 1154 and EN 1155, is CE marked and is suitable for BS 7273-4 Category B installations. As this product is intended for use as part of a fire door installation, it must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and used with all relevant associated products where required.
