he DORMAKABA TS 83 Door Closer is a versatile rack and pinion overhead door closer designed for reliable door control across a wide range of applications. With adjustable power, adjustable closing speed and adjustable latch action, the TS 83 can be tailored to suit the requirements of the door, making it a practical choice for commercial, public and high-traffic environments.

The TS 83 is successfully tested to BS EN1154 and is CERTIFIRE approved and fire rated for timber (FD120) and metal (FD240) fire doors, making it suitable for use on fire and smoke check doors when correctly specified and installed. Its self-regulating backcheck helps protect the door and surrounding wall from damage caused by sudden opening, while the non-handed design allows use on left or right hand doors. Please note, hold-open arms are not permitted on fire doors.
